Licensed by the State Bar of California since 2006, Ed Brooks has worked in both the public and private sectors. He began his career as a Deputy District Attorney where he successfully prosecuted numerous jury trials and developed expertise in a wide variety of criminal matters.
Ed then transitioned to civil litigation where he worked for a premiere boutique law firm representing employers in both federal and state courts and administrative agencies. It was here that he developed expertise in drug testing laws, medical marijuana laws, workplace safety litigation and personnel matters.
Using his unique experience in handling criminal and employment law matters enables him to provide aggressive legal defense to clients and advising clients on their rights and how a criminal charge or conviction can impact a person’s employment and ability to earn a living.
